Haryali Teej Celebration at Divine Light School, Sirhind

On July 25, 2025, Divine Light School celebrated Haryali Teej with great joy and enthusiasm, keeping the spirit of tradition and culture alive. The event was a vibrant blend of devotion, creativity, and Punjabi heritage.

A Punjabi Culture Exhibition was the highlight of the day, where students beautifully showcased the richness of Punjab through traditional attire, artifacts, and customs.

Students actively participated in various cultural and creative activities:

Classes IV: Solo Song, Solo Dance, Giddha & Punjabi Folk Songs

Classes VI – XII: Mehndi Competition, Dastar Bandi (Boys), Paranda Plate Making

Under the Health and Science Club, young minds expressed their creativity and awareness through:

Poster Making (Classes V – VII)

Declamation Contest (Classes VIII – XII)

The celebration was further graced by the presence of Ms. Priya Arora (Secretary-cum-Treasurer) and Dr. Babita Chopra (Principal), who encouraged the students and announced the results of the competitions.

It was truly a memorable day filled with colors, culture, and consciousness, reflecting the spirit of Punjab and the joy of Teej.
